An interesting item of Undercover mail via the Polish legation who forwarded mail from Poland to Polish Free Forces. Sandomierz a smaller town suffered through the holocuast with most of the Jewish population perishing at Belzec & Treblinka, the town was liberated & then occupied by the Russians in August 1944 see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandomierz
