[17699] BULGARIA...1st BALKAN WAR BULGARIAN 6th ARMY.. 1913 (Mar 2) Plain stampless envelope complete with letter datelined Samoranova 2 Mar 1913 with envelope countersigned at bottom left & bearing two strikes of circular cyrilic 6th Army Unit h/s with Bulgarian Lion in centre in violet ..........The 1st Balkan war commenced when Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece & Montenegro mobilized with the Montenegrins declaring war against Turkey on 8 Oct 1912 followed by the others on 18 Oct. A peace treaty was signed in London on 30 May 1913 with Turkey being the losers.
