C.A. Vanderzal, 2nd Nigerian Regt. cancelled Duala /Camerouns cds ....In August 1914, the German colony of Kameroun was invaded by British & French forces. The capital, Duala, was captured 27 Sept 1914 by a Naval attack, but the German forces withdrew to the interior & were not finally defeated until 18 Feb 1916.........Rare item from active warfare period
