Darrel & Burtts Island held between them only 1481 POW's.,although to ease conjestion the British transported via a series of 6 ships a total of 4619 Boer POW's to Bermuda arriving between 28 Jun 01 - 17 Jan 02. .....An interesting POW to POW item
